How a writer of 30 years went from Ghost Writer for other people's websites to having his own Online SuperStore!

I have been a writer for a very long time, and I never wanted to get a computer or get involved with this whole online thing. I even wrote an entire book with a typewriter, a dictionary, and a ream of paper. Then I finally broke down about 8 months ago and got a computer. Well, I don't have to tell you what my first few months online were like! Exciting things everywhere; Merriam-Webster's Website, Encyclopaedia Britannica, and the Gutenberg.Org website! That's a great place where you can read one of over 25,000 manuscripts of older books that are in the public domain because of expired or no copyright. Anyway, I eventually began bumping into folks who had their own money making websites selling this, that, and the other. Some of these people needed a ghost writer to write articles for them for the purposes of SEO, and article marketing. I began to gain more and more clients, and was doing more and more writing, and getting paid well for this service! Then it occurred to me that I was a ghost writer for various people that were selling self defense items, gift items, Mother's Day gifts, everything from birdhouses to religious items. I was a writer for hire and my SEO writing was helping these clients of mine, to get more traffic to their websites and online superstores. Then I thought to myself, "Maybe I should get a website of my own?" However, I did not want to limit myself to only selling one type of product line, I wanted to have an Online SuperStore! Even though I have been in the pepper spray and self defense items business for quite some time, I wanted to start out, right from the beginning with a huge selection of quality merchandise at reasonable prices! This is what I have done, however, I believe that there's MORE to life than just making money, and I also like to spread good karma! I have also been a writer of greeting card verses, and have decided to feature a spot on my website where people can grab a few free greeting card verses to use on their own homemade cards. That is a huge hobby for millions of people these days, making their own greeting cards! I also have a spot with quotes from various famous people throughout history, and a place where I give away some great recipes! Then there's the acts of kindness page, that mentions different things we should all do from time to time, such as, "over tip breakfast waitresses." You can also read some of my poetry there on the website, and you can read my blog which normally features some encouragement and positive words of wisdom! So, I opened my Online SuperStore while continuing to be a writer for hire, and while continuing to provide outstanding SEO articles for different clients of mine to utilize for their article marketing campaigns! I am also developing ways for folks to use some of my merchandise, to resell to their friends and families, to earn extra cash, without having to sell their souls to an MLM company.
